It all began with a draft of a book written by a friend that we read as a family. My kids were so inspired that they wanted to have a short story contest with their dad and me—spooky stories. A glimmer of a concept about a lake sprang forth, and I couldn’t stop it. The story just flowed out of me, far more than the one or two pages we all intended. A new passion was awakened. And with that, Whispers in the Mist was born.
